Fund-A-Cure

What is Fund-A-Cure?

At the JDRF Hope Gala, there will be a moment after the Live Auction when the room is stilled and the story of hope unfolds.  Our 2011 Fund-A-Cure speaker will share his story and ask guests to support him and the millions of people with type 1 diabetes to fund the research that will ultimately lead to a cure.  Guests will then be given the opportunity to donate directly to research, from the $50,000 level to the $100 level, and make a 100% tax-deductible contribution to research.

You do not need to be present at the 2011 Gala to support Fund-A-Cure and the vital research JDRF funds. You can make a donation online, download our RSVP Form or call (202) 465-4123.  All Fund-A-Cure contributions are 100% tax-deductible.

The Artificial Pancreas Fund

All proceeds from Fund A Cure 2011 will benefit JDRF’s Artificial Pancreas Fund. We have made momentous progress toward developing a first generation artificial pancreas – a device that will reduce or eliminate the risk of complications and ease the daily burdens of diabetes for our loved ones.

Your support is invaluable to enhancing the lives of those who deal with type 1 diabetes and its complications.

Thank you for your generosity.

JDRF is proud to have CBS News Congressional Correspondent Nancy Cordes as the 2011 JDRF Hope Gala Emcee.
